Get a library card?
Library cards for the Dudley-Tucker Library are free if you live, work or go to school in Raymond. If you live in Raymond, bring a picture ID and proof of residency (tax bill, water bill, electric bill) to the Main Desk. If you work in Raymond, bring a picture ID and a recent pay stub from the local business where you work. If you do not live in Raymond but go to school in Raymond, bring in your school ID. You may also purchase an Out of Town card for $25.00/year.

Find materials?
Check our library catalog.Enter what you’re looking for in the Find: box. If what you’re searching for is owned by the Library, you will see the location of the item, spine label, and whether or not it’s currently available. Or ask your friendly librarian!

Search our library catalog, then follow the link to NH Downloadable Books. Or go directly to https://nh.overdrive.com. Be sure to log into NHDB with your library card and phone number/password to see exactly what is available to you.

Borrow materials?
Bring the materials you wish to take home to the main desk or the Children’s Room desk, along with your library card, and the librarian will check them out to you. S/he will stamp them with the due date, so you know when to get them back to the library. Late fees are assessed for overdue materials.

Find articles?
Go to our website. Click on the EbscoHost box. Enter your library card number in the field in order to freely access this subscription database. Click the Login button. Choose the option that fits your topic best. Check the “Select/deselect all” box and click on the Continue button. Enter your search terms in the search box to begin your search.
See what I have checked out?
Go to our catalog. Log in, entering your library card # and 7-digit phone # into the boxes in upper right-hand corner. Click on My Account. Click on Items Out/Renewals.
Renew books?
Go to our catalog. Log in, entering your library card # and 7-digit phone # into the boxes in upper right-hand corner. Click on My Account. Click on Items Out/Renewals. Click either the Renew All Items button in the center of the page or the Renew button to the right of the title that you want to renew. If that fails, call your friendly librarian: 603-895-7057.

Request materials?
Ask your friendly librarian in person or at 603-895-7057. Alternatively, check the catalog. Log in, entering your library card # and 7-digit phone # into the boxes in upper right-hand corner. Click on the title of the material you would like to reserve. If you are logged in, a Reserve This Item button will appear just under the title. Click it. A box will pop up asking how you wish to be notified when the material is available for you to pick up. Choose your method of contact from the drop-down menu, and click the Place Reserve button.

Use library computers?
Come on in and use them! If there is a wait to use the computers, library patrons already on computers will be limited to ½ an hour to complete their work, to allow for folks waiting to use them. Adults unaccompanied by children are not permitted to use the computers in the Children’s Room.
