A Smoky Mountain Christmas

Thursday, December 5, 2024

Raymond Recreation is going to Danversport in Danvers, MA on Thursday, December 5th to enjoy a delicious luncheon and an amazing show.  ‘A Smoky Mountain Christmas’ with Country Music's Favorite Couple - Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton.  This incredible show recreates their Once Upon A Christmas Album and their CBS special in 1984 titled Kenny & Dolly: A Christmas to Remember.  Of course, no show would be complete without a few of their greatest hits such as: The Gambler, Lady, Lucille, We've Got Tonight, Jolene, 9 to 5, I Will Always Love You, Coat of Many Colors, Islands in the Stream, and so much more!  Don't miss out on this amazing Christmas show paying tribute to incredible country music legends.  They're so good you'll completely forget you’re not listening to the original performers.

On our drive we will make a quick stop to Hobby Lobby to pick up any holiday decorations or gifts. Then it’s off to our next destination for our lunch and show.  Nestled on 19 acres, directly on the water, Danversport is truly a New England jewel offering expansive views and upscale function facilities.  Lunch includes a choice of entrée (Chicken Parmesan or Baked Schrod), salad, potato, vegetable, dessert, and coffee/tea.

Please sign up early.  We must confirm our space by November 11th.

The coach bus will leave Raymond at 9:30 am and return at 4:50 pm.  The cost of this trip, which includes coach bus transportation, all gratuities, luncheon and amazing show is, $114 for Raymond seniors (are age 60 or over), $119 for non-resident seniors and adult Raymond residents.
